The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC-ARMM), chaired by the Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO-ARMM) and co-chaired by the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), conducted a site validation visit held on November 9-13 and November 17-18, 2015 in the province of Maguindanao.
The validation visit aimed to corroborate the ARMM-Humanitarian Development Action Plan (ARMM-HDAP) proposed projects to be implemented in 2016 by the region's Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The Plan is one of the Autonomous Regional Government's (ARG's) interventions to address the needs of the people who were and still are affected by man-made and natural calamities in the 2nd district of Maguindanao.
The team visited proposed projects such as construction of rice production and marketing (including solar dryers and warehouses, and rice mills), multi-purpose buildings, and socialized housing facilities for the Agrarian Reform Communities (ARC): Datu Abdullah Sangki, Rajah Buayan, Shariff Aguak, Guindulungan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Datu Piang, Talayan, Talitay, and Mamasapano.
The RPMC team was composed of technical staff from the RPDO, DAR, Provincial Agrarian Reform Office, and Municipal Agrarian Reform Office.
