The RCCB meeting was attended by the Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Regional Budget and Management Office (RBMO), and Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
Engr. Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, RPDO-ARMM Executive Director and chair of the RCCB stressed that the conduct of the 2015 Census is very significant because population data is one of the most important indicators used in the planning activities of agencies.
Hji. Abdulhakeem Suod M. Barodi, CESE, PSA-ARMM Iterim Regional Director highlighted three main points in his presentation which includes; 1) Orientation on the composition and functions of RCCB, 2) Overview of the 2015 POPCEN, and 3) the presentation of the google maps. He also shared the major activities to be undertaken in line with the conduct of the 2015 POPCEN.
The organization of RCCB is based on the PSA Resolution No. 09, Series of 2014 which approves the Composition and Terms of Reference of the Regional, Provincial, City, and Municipal Census Coordinating Board for the 2015 Census Population.
