Conferred the Sharief Kabungsuwan Merit Award for Exemplary Performance

The Regional Planning and Development Office was conferred the Sharief Kabungsuwan Merit Award for Exemplary Performance during the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The RPDO received the award for top performance and excellence in service of the ARMM. It is the highest award that the regional government can give to a government agency.

RPDO Exectuive Director Baintan Adil- Ampatuan received the award from ARMM Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman during the Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat on November 18, 2014 attended by regional and local government officials and employees of the ARMM.

The award is a fitting recognition of the indispensable role of the RPDO in the socio-economic development of the ARMM. It is a living testament to the hardwork, zeal, and dedication of Team RPDO composed of the officials and staff of the agency.

Executive Director Ampatuan said that the RPDO will continue to champion the Hataman administration’s vision for good governance and excellence in public service. She added that the transition from the ARMM to the Bangsamoro, although a welcome development, is a gargantuan challenge which the Team RDPO is ready to take.

She also thanked the RPDO employees whose hardwork and support, she said, has made her acceptance of the award even sweeter.
